The Southwest High School Performing Arts Council was formed in 2015 as an organization of parents, teachers, and community members to unify the great booster groups that have fostered Southwest High School’s rich tradition of excellence in music, theatre, and dance since 1951. This unified support ensures resources are used most efficiently, maintaining a spirit of enthusiastic celebration of the performing arts and the kids who use them.
The Performing Arts Council preserves this tradition through our mission to:
- Promote parent, school, and community interest and support for all aspects of the performing arts program
- Encourage and supporting educational enrichment activities for performing arts students
- Build and maintain a parent organization
- Provide a model of cooperation and dedication through parental participation
If you would like to join the council, volunteer, donate, or contribute in any other way, we’d love to hear from you. Please contact us.
